    Default Diplomacy

I was wondering if anyone knew how i could fix the forced diplomacy mod on my RS, the show me how button is greyed out, so it won't let me use it.

I think this may have been answered sumwhere else, but i couldn't find it, so if it was just post a link to it instead.

EDIT! Has anybody else been having this problem or is it just me?

I do all those steps, but the show me how button is greyed out, so i cant go any further- I found this- http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=149264, it's for RS 1.5a, but people talk about having the same problem in it as well and some even say they managed to fix it, but without elaborating, so i am going to see if i can find out how to fix it from one of them.

Broken Lance i may have found a solution. I'm not sure why this works, but this is what i did and the show me how button is no longer greyed out.

1)Go to your Rome total war folder-go into data, then _IMPORTANT_STUFF, then Forced_Diplomacy, then there are two different forced diplomacy things in that folder, on is for roma surrectum 1.5b and one just seems to be for roma surrectum-this was the top one for me.

    2)Open that folder using winrar.

3)When you open it you should see a folder called Forced_Diplomacy, open it, then open data, then copy the contents of scripts into scripts and the contents of text into text and export_descr_advice.txt into data in your rome total war folder. When you copy them it will most likely ask you if you want to replace the file, so you should replace it if it asks.

4)After that all i did was run the game and the show me how button was no longer greyed out.

Sorry for the double post, but i just thought i had to share

I had thought it was added to the files during the install not that you have to do it manually. I had forgot that is how it is....But yay I fixed it

I saw the file, but there was no way for me to open it.
Do one of you happen to have the things I need to make force diplomacy work??

Don't you need winrar to open it?

It's a compression/decompression tool - like WinZIP but better. Usually files are given a .rar extension but it can read many formats so it's better than zip in many respects. Get it here http://www.rarsoft.com/

There are other tools that can read rar too, such as 7-zip you can google for them and they usually read most formats.
