Unit Availability (HELP!)
I have a question, hopefully it has a simple answer. I am using ss 6.1. Only thing i have changed is turns per year are at .50. But i had a campaign going, however any upgraded units were never available, always greyed out, saying 5 turns till more available, or 3, but after those turns, nothing changed, I could never recruit, armoured sergeants, or dismounted knights, or longbowmen, always greyed out...help please.

Re: Unit Availability (HELP!)
I believe you must have Generals with the War Council Member Trait either present, or as governer. I can't be sure.
Also - is your Culture rating high enough?

Re: Unit Availability (HELP!)
One of the most reported bugs on the boards.
It's caused by an error in the version of Bygs Grim Reality that's included in SS6.1
Check the thead here for a fix. It'll require you to start a new campaign, unfortunatly.

Re: Unit Availability (HELP!)
thanks for the link, So what if I did a reinstall and when I do the patch I don't use Grims reality part? Or would that hamper the Mod too much?

Re: Unit Availability (HELP!)
I doubt you'd be able to continue your campaign either way. There's a bunch of traits that your familiy members has, which would be missing without BGR, so it'd either crash at once, or you'd experience a lot of wierd happenings.

Re: Unit Availability (HELP!)
I would restart the campaign too, however, I think I will just use the fix. I was just worried that me editing the turns per year had something to do with it, but that appears to not be the case. I am glad for that, I will install the patch for the BFG and restart the campaign.
