    Default An Interesting Dilemma

After months and months as well as several campaign restarts, I've finally achieved victory in RTR with the Romans. Now I'm at a crossroads of what to do. I've tried going to Medieval II, but there are so many facets of the gameplay that are poorly made IMO that I simply can't stand the game nor find a mod that fixes them to my liking. So I'm left with an odd problem with the follow choices: do I find a new game to play, try a different faction, or perhaps make an AAR with the Romans?

Any and all input is welcomed.

There's The Iberian Conflict, which covers the Carthaginian conquest of Iberia under Hamilcar and Hannibal. It's a mini-campaign, lasting around 20 years, but it's very atmospheric, especially if you leave Saguntum until the end. Fate of Empires should be out soon, which covers the period from when Rome begns to unite Italy through to their dominance of the western Meiterranean.

I've tried my hand at TIC a few times and have had my hand slapped away by the furious AI(not a complaint, just an observation). That Carthaginian first battle is a real test of your mettle. As for FoE, definitely planning on trying it out once it is released, but still looking for something as a stop-gap until then.

Edit: After some thought, I think I'll try my hand at an AAR until FoE arrives.
