A question and a problem.

First of all, from the little I have seen it looks like a great mod. Well done SS.



BUT I keep getting CTDs. Especially when I click on a faction to play as on start campaign menu or choose something in a menu. It's annoying and I have the feeling it'll CTD into my campaign. I am running Vista, but I don't think that is the problem. SS basically works but for the CTDs. I'm currently playing 6.1 (I can't install


ALSO I hate to search (and anyway, mods get angry if you raise subjects from years ago) but is their a way to "alternate" the playable factions in the custom battles. I know, you have limited space to fit in Ireland (for ex) but I'd really like to play these new factions to see what kind of military they have.

Don't know about the second question(you'd probabaly just have to mvoe some stuff around in the custom battle text file tho) but regarding the first question, it is a common issue to CTD if you select too many factions or spend to long on the faction select screen, know what you're gonna pcik beforehand and then just pick those options quickly and start.

Yes you can make all factions playable in custom battle by enabling them in the options section of your mtw2 folder.

Mods hate it more when people don't search before posting when doing so would easily get an answer.

Your question about custom battle availability has been asked and answered many times before. If you do a search you'll find what you need.

I find that if I don't choose a faction within about 30 seconds in Late Era I will crash, which is a when you're looking for a particular faction and can't find it (took me ages to find Teutons the second time I played them). This only happens, for me, in Late Era, I don't think I've ever had a CTD for Early.

While it won't give you practice at playing any given faction this is arguably the best M2TW resource on the web (or will be when it adds 6.2 :p ). Just scroll down to 6.1 and you can have a look at the entire roster for every faction. It's MUCH faster than trying each faction out in-game and you can immediately see if a faction has the kind of roster you like.
