- I can't choose which faction will be playable. Just one faction can be playable, and it depends on the factions that are part of the hb. For example, i'm trying to edit Hastings, and i would like to have the french as the playable faction, but it is only possible to play with the english. I have tried modifing the description.txt, establishing the english as non playable faction, but in that case i can't even get into battle. If both factions are defined as playable, you will able to play always with the same faction, no matter which of them u have choose.
Just make two versions of the HB, one with the French as playable, the other with the English.
- I can't create squads of more than 160 soldiers (i mean, 160 x 20 each army). When editing, i can add up to 300, but then, when playing there are no more than 160. How can i modify this limit? Cause it's nonsense that i can create big squads when editing but not being able to see them on the battlefield when playing...
Please, if anybody could help me... it would be awesome. Or at least tell me where to look for the info!Well, thanks in advance.
The size you see in the battle probably, though I'm not sure, corresponds to the unit size listed under the advanced settings for video options. Change that to, likely, change the unit size when actually running the historical battle.
