How can you get dubious or lower to reliable?

I do not like it when out of no where I go down to dubious, just because two of my allies are at war, and I have to choose one of them,....any suggestons on how to get to rliable from dubious or lower?

There's no specific way, you just have to raise your reputation the old fashioned way, go to Rebel's guide or the TWC Wiki, they explain it perfectly.

Release every prisoner you get, and try to not to sack or exterminate cities you conquered.

a. keep your alliance : don't attack your ally, don't make allies that are likely to go to war with each other.

b. keep people happy with you : this can be tough depending on your faction, Muslim / Orthodox factions are much more likely to get hurt in this area since there are much more catholic factions that will always hate you.

c. stick to your promise : if you say "accept or we will attack" or "help attack faction X" to someone else. then actually do it.
