how to turn off the stupid warpath menu?

I don't really want the Warpath theme at my start menu. How do I get rid of it?

I hadn't played ETW for a few weeks and I came back to this little surprise, which the updates news don't even MENTION. My only consolation is that CA finally added some decent music to the loading screen and stuff in-game. Which they also neglected to mention in their log.

Unfortunately there is no "direct" way to get rid of the Warpath menu, however there are many mods that will do it for you and revert things back to the way they were. I'll see if I can find a link...

The same thing happened to me. At first I thought I accidentally purchased Warpath or something . But I have to agree it is becoming an annoyance. I would much prefer the original. But you know why they did it--free advertising--in your face free advertising so I doubt it will be temporary. This will probably be one of the last things CA makes money on before Napoleon. Hopefully we will get some more units before then.

The problem is that warpath musik is present in battles -_-... and you can't turn it off even when fighting in europe.

And the messages regarding trade agreements broken and others diplomatic messages (not all) have an native american style picture and thats just not right, its really jarring.

In fact, I saw the price of warpath and I was going to get it, but the superliminal advertising turned me.

I bought the warpath and still the menu is there.
And i have to say the warpath sucks, dont like playing as indians.
Woluld like to try the european factions though, anyone know any mod for this?

I hate it too. I don't intend to buy Warpath. I want a menu of Europe, bloodydamn!

Yeah I'd thought they would remove it again with the warpath-distribution patch but I was wrong. To be honest the small box on the bottom right is already stretching things in my opinion but turning the whole menu into an ugly advertising platform does annoy me. What will we get next? In-game pop-up screens linking you to the steam store when you first drop an army on American soil? Or NTW pop-ups after the end of a campaign ("if you would like to play further after this point, please consider buying our new game, Nappy-chappy")?

Worst of all, the background movie path is hardcoded so if you want to fix it you actually need to replace the video with something else. I was considering some x-rated movies for this purpose for a while but then decided against it (after all, there are so many censor bars on the screen which they call buttons ) and just replaced it with an empty file.

It annoys me too. There are a ton of UI problems like when trading technology too that I've noticed.

I kinda liked the menu, and it would be great if I were playing Warpath or if oit were temporary, but I miss the old menu and menu music. I don't mind some of the new music, but it should be an addition to the old stuff, not a replacement.

I dont see this as a big issue i own warpath since release but the menue is coming old i would like the original back i hope in the next patch they gonna revert it .
