I'm playing RTR for a while now...and it rocks!
There are only some bugs and stuff...

So, is there any update planned to make it a v2.0?

There isn`t. RTRPE is a completed project and nobody is still working on it. I`ve already told you in the roman units thread. A whole team was on this as you say, but organized work on it has stopped for years. RTRPE was never intended to be more than a port of RTR 6 Gold to the new(at that time) RTW v1.5 engine.
There might be some individual who does this privately and maybe at some point will want to share it with the rest, but I doubt that will result in anything else than another mini mod/spin off like the others you see next to this sub-forum.
