Diplomacy/Hotseat questions

First of all I'd like to say 'hello' to all of you in here. I've been reading these forums for quite some time and finally decided to join. To be more specific it's down to the developers of DotS, because their work woke up my interest in the Total War games.But enough of this silly talk, I've got some questions

If someone aasked them already, feel free to give me a nice slap Can't say I'm gifted with using even the simple forum tools Hope it will change!

1. Are you planing to make a hotseat campaign available? Or will it be easy to enable it on your own?
2. Will the player be able to affect alliances taken between the AI factions? For example, I'm playing as Poland and have already allied with Kiev and Lithuania, but I'm afraid that they will start a war with each other, thus ending one of the alliances. I'd love to have some kind of diplomatic action available, that would encourage my partners to better the relations between eachother.
