You need to have some modding skills to do it - but yes it's possible. The Norman Invasion mod has used some of the RS1.6 environment improvements. Other mods are requesting permission to do so.

Probably, but I doubt they'll just tell you. The new environments are results of many months of modding work.

dvk and the team have agreed to release the battlefield improvements to other mods in the coming weeks. So in a fairly short time, the entire RTW modding universe will be transformed.

And you will all have to tithe to dvk and sacrifice small creatures to his statue once a week. Especially lizards, for he doth have a great fondness for our scaly brethren.

I was already doing this before you said so... More often than weekly.

    You mean minerva?
Or will I be able to get a Dvk statue at my local shriner?
"The only question that remained was whether the founders knew the final result of their creation, or if they themselves where the victims of a misunderstanding.
In the latter case it was the duty of any thinking human, to press himself into the front of this depraved movement, to perhaps still prevent the extreme, in the former case the founders of this peoples disease must have been true devils; for only in the brain of a monster - not of a human - could the plan for an organisation take meaningfull form, whose purpose must lead toward the end result of a collapse of human culture and thus to the desolation of the world.
In this case only battle remained as a means of final delivery, battle with any weapons that the human mind, intellect and will are able to comprehend, regardless, of whom fate would gift with it's blessing."

We don't have many lizards around here, can I substitute pigeons instead, plenty of them around. If so, what is the going rate for pigeon sacrifice compared to lizard sacrifice?

We're talking about the RS1.6 ones there, in case anyone was wondering!

    Last I checked: 3 pigeons = 1 lizard.

The RS1.6 environment can 'fairly' easily be applied to other mods if you have an idea what you're doing, and what files you need to do it. It was created on the standard RTW climate usage, and could even be transferred into Vanilla if you so desired.

The RS2 environment is another story altogether. It is not only (and mostly) Tone's work and 'baby', but it is also HIGHLY customized for RS2, the RS2 map, with a number of climate usage changes that make it incompatible with the standard RTW setup.

It was my (and the team's) intention that the RS1.6 environment be available to anyone who wanted it for the asking, and the credits to those who made it.

Empire Total War would benefit greatly from a mod like this.
