Infinite Crashes...

The game (original IB mod, latest version) is crashing to desktop very frequently. Happens on average about once every 10 turns. Any idea what the problem could be? Its very aggravating considering this is one of the best mods I've played for Rome.

A similar problem occured when playing Europa Barbarorum. I had a great campaign as the Bactrians on VH/VH, and there were no problems for about 300 turns, but suddenly it came to a point where the game would crash when I clicked "End Turn". The only difference with the IB mod is, the crashes have been happening from the beginning of the campaign BUT I can load the saved game and continue for another 10 turns or so, so at least my campaign wasn't going to waste, but now it reached the point where I cannot continue my campaign at all. Also, I should mention this only started happening when playing as the Romano-British. I previously started a few other campaigns and there were no problems (maybe I didn't play long enough for the problems to show up?) So is this something related to my PC, or is it a known bug for this mod? If so, how can I fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have autosave on? If so thats probably the reason.

I assume that you are playing IBV7.03? Are you playing with the full script or not?

How would I turn it off? I don't see anything under any of the options screens for that...

I'm playing version 7. And I don't even know what you mean by the script, I'm a total novice when it comes to the technical lingo. I just installed the mod over a clean BI with the 1.6 patch, and started playing. I didn't touch any game files nor did I change any options.

1. You don't have to turn Autosave off if it's IBFD 7 you're playing. If it's EB I haven't got a clue.

2. I would advice you to download 7.03 and install it. And play without any scripts activated, in other words: When the Advisor pops up in the upper left corner, just ignore it. Then it should be fine.
