    Default Bug/Ctd Reports 1.6

    I'm putting this up, just so there's somewhere for any bugs that may be found. We don't expect any bugs, but I guarantee if I didn't post this someone would find something.

    Do not post bugs if you have modded your version of RS in any way!!

    Here's a list of known issues in RS 1.6:

    (1st posting) Just got hold of the mod. Super work, well done to all.
    You are right about bug reports, however - it must be just a matter of time!
    Here's my tuppence-worth, from an hour of play:

    Hired an Arab cavalry mercenary near Jerusalem. The unit info card states "Can Form Wedge". The Special Ability button is blank, however (and the hover text has "Special Ability: None").

    Again, fantastic work by all involved

    p.s. Not sure from forum title if " Bug/Ctd Reports 1.6" is just for CTD bugs, or any 1.6 bugs. Assuming the latter.

    Minor point: the Syrian Archers has a technical error (and a wee English typo) in the text.
    - 'with their reflexive bows' should, I think, be 'with their recurved bows';
    - 'main strenght' -> 'main strength'; and
    - 'hellenic' -> 'Hellenic'

    Here is another error while exiting RS1.6. Its got pissed of at me.

    I found smth interesting, I can build mines in settlements with copper and similar resources now, but it doesn't apear in the map and i cant build temple of forge in those settlements.

    The mines appearing on the strat map are linked to gold and silver (the mines will appear on top of gold and silver resources) so nothing can be done about that.

    As for the forge, it requires a certain level of the trader building tree to build and one of iron, tin, lead or copper.

    Hi guys, I found something that happen to me in my new 1.6 campaign as Iberia. I was sieging Burdigala (near the coast of western Gaul) with 3 rams. When I got to the deploy screen, I first found the rams in funky positions and I could not move them around as normal. I did try removing the current unit and replacing it with another, but that didnt help. Thankfully, after I started the battle I was able to move the rams normally. I guess it is more of an annoyance than a bug, I just dont know if this will happen again.

    You installed the mod incorrectly, likely into the data folder instead of the Rome - Total War folder.

    Default The Getae turn CTD

    Hi, i play RS 1.6 for a week and i have problem on my Roman Campaign... I follow the instructions when im installing it... I dont know the year but i end turn and when it goes to The Geate, it got freezed and i must end it with ctrl+alt+del.... or sometimes restart it.... I play with one save (err...), preferences.txd is overwrited, i only change buildings to 1 turn build everyone, i have 1 turn recruitment... I dont want to start a new campaign, so anyone can help me?

    I have exactly the same problem, just no mods to my game. The game works fine for about 20 turns, with battles about every other turn, and then one battle, it just freezes and the only way to end is alt+ctrl+del, then end process, I cant even end the task. Please help because its just this one battle that it cant do and its really annoying me. If it makes any difference I have a full greek army (me) vs two full rebel armies.

    We can only support the mod. Worse comes to worse with a CTD we ask for a save game. As we don't have your mod then that is pointless.....

    Problem solved... i abadoned some sieges and looks at the getaeans with toggle_fow - it goes normal now...

    extremely mini bug(s):

    Tarraco (on the Eastern edge of Iberia) doesn't allow Rome to recruit republican hastati/principe, but does allow republican legion I Triarii and VE Legions (with an army barracks). Shouldn't the Triarii be II in that area?
    The VE Legions also still remain on the building browser (though Triarii go away), even when Legion IX is available to recruit.

    Narbo Martius has the opposite problem. they can recruit all roman units with lower level barracks (republican II), but Triarii go away with Army Barracks. Field of Mars doesn't indicate a proper legion, only still VE Legions - even though this is an "L" marked city.

    Is building browser info not exactly accurate? Should I wait for reforms to see what actually can be built there?

    This is an amazing mod, and it has to say something that I'd be awake at 1:40 on a Sunday night looking at recruitment regions... Yes, it's *that* compelling...

    1. Some cities can build mines but they don't get money from mining.
    Dunno if it's only visual...
    2. I can't build forges in all cities,do they have a hidden requirement or something?
    3. Ladders get stuck in other ladders and get half of my unit wiped out by that gatling gun in the tower (dunno,maybe it happened in vanilla too,i used auto-resolve back then)
    4. Siege tower didn't lower its bridge on the wall in my last battle (same as above)
    5. Rams tend to stop when i order them to attack the gate/wall from distance. (same as 3)
    6. Troops move like drunken retards on the streets (same as 3)

    would provide you with some funny SSs but for some reason my print screen button doesn't do its job.

    #2: that's the case. it has to be iron or copper. other mines can produce gold/silver, allow for the upgrade buildings.

    Hmm,all of a sudden forge appeared in Arretium and couple of other cities...
    It was strange because it wasn't in that page with all buildings listed (building browser?)
