I am the Cow.


I'm fifteen, and I love rome total war.

I played for two years, and got bored with the regular campaigns, and decided to try a mod or two.

I tried RTR on Windows Vista, but, I has the following problems:

THe historical battles work BUT:

The Campaing crashes the computer.

I can't play Custom battles.

I When I play the historical battles, the HUD, or whatever, is misplaced, all the buttons are not where they are supposed to be.

So, I might stop playing. BUT, I have Rome total War Gold on steam. How do I fully get rid of it. i had a back up of RTW, but I Tried RTR through a different site, and it told me to copy and replace the data file, and Rome total war didn't work, had redownload it. And then , it still seemd sort of a mixed version, with a provincial campaing in the sigleplayer menu, and i made the backup with that. the ni tried RTR with the official site BUT, like i said, campaign didn't work ,and when i deleted rome from my computer, and installed the backup, It gives me the RTW version when i copied and replaced my data folder. even so, i get a "mix" por RTR and RTW. I have the RTR factin shields, the Aromord hoplites are frikin' wierd looking, and it just isn't like good old RTW. What should i do?

Maybe if you post some screenshots of the errors that we know more.
It will help a lot.

Use PrintScreen SysRq button during error, then run Windows Paint and plus ctrl+v, save it, and upload to imageshack, or tinypic etc., then copy the link here.
