Tastes differ
OK, reasoning:
Britannia:
Too crowded map, it is all about sieging castles/cities/forts. The irish seem to be an OK faction though, I like their lineup, and it has a good feel to free the island from the pesky english. However, the enemy stacks are a bit repeatative too.
Crusades:
I hate the slow crawling through the desert, and I hate that the crusaders are too strong.
Americas:
Well, I really like Cortés, a very interesting historical figure. One of my favourite books from my elementary school years was based upon his commentators (letters and reports to the emperor): Tláloc weeps for Mexico (El dios de lluvia llora sobre Méjico)
.
I only have one problem
: the emperor should take away gold, not give it!I also like that unique Apache campaign!
Teutonic:
A book from youth is responsible again

Henryk Sienkiewicz: Knights of the cross.
It is taking place in the Poland/Lithuania vs. Teuton war, starts just before the battle of Grünwald. Since then, I wanted a game where I could defeat that joke of an order. (the book is biased towards polish of course, but it has some right, as the Teutons were not behaving themselves before in Hungary either until the king threw them out)
