    Default How to mod the Chapter Houses

    I was thinking of modding the chapter houses, eg. Templars chapter house so it would house templar crossbowmen for any nation in the late campaign. The unit recruitment is no problem as I have made this possible in export_descr_buildings.txt file... but in-game, the unit card is a peasant and the unit in the battle is silvery instead of the skins usually there...


    how do I fix this??? is it possible to use the card and skins from the templars unit pool in any way?

    You have to edit the modeldb file to give each faction a texture to use for the crossbowmen unit. Check the Mod Workshop section of the forums. There are several tutorials there about giving units to other factions.
