Help Installing 6.2

Hi guys,

Had a break from SS so to install 6.2 do I simply install 6.0 then install 6.2 via the link in the 6.2 thread?

Also is the link to bug fixes under the main links in the 6.2 thread to fix bugs in the 6.0 - 6.2 download?

Also where can I get the mod that alters all the byzentine (sp) re-done units?

Writing this in a rush so appriciate its hard to follow....

I haven't installed 6.2 but maybe I can help.
1. Download SS 6.0 part 1 and 2
2. Download the patch 6.1
3. Install SS 6.1
4. Download the patch 6.2 in that thread.
5. Install the patch if needed, if not, then replace the old files with these new ones.
6. Now you're fine.

The mod you're looking for is CBUR, Complete Byzantine Unit Roster aka Basileia ton Romaion made by Caesar Clivus and AnthoniusII. You can find it here. Although it seems that it is for 6.1 only, I believe that it works with 6.2 too if you first download the 6.2 patch and then the mod.
If you want, you can also check the Revised Novgorod Roster Mod. It improves the units of Novgorod.

Bane_tw provided a link so that you can install 6.2 straight over 6.1. Check the 6.2 thread for details.

That should be posted in the 6.2 thread in the submods forum.

That isn't compatible with 6.2.

Actually it wont. It might not crash, but that doesn't mean it's working.
