Permission issue: M2TW stuff in RTW!
Hi all!
Can anyone tell me if it's perfectly okay to use M2TW things in RTW mods? I don't mean small elements but large and obvious things like the entire horses and weapons etc...

Re: Permission issue: M2TW stuff in RTW!
I've strictly avoided this in my past mods, although in Norman Invasion I have used a selection of French-accent voices and a selection of portraits from M2 for one faction.
I believe I heard somewhere - someone correct me if I am wrong - that it has only recently become (or is becoming) policy for SEGA games not to allow elements of new games into mods for older games...
I would not personally use huge chunks, but others may disagree.

Re: Permission issue: M2TW stuff in RTW!
Hi,Aqd Its not to clear with back moding older games, I think Sega may not like it, But if the player has to buy the CD vanilla from a retailer to play it and Sega gets their cut, I cannot see where they have a problem. Okay in RTW case the buyer may be getting the benefit of MTW2 stuff without buying the retail CD for that game, So that may be a point of contention?
