Not Likely. I just don't get the near delusional fervour that these countries work them selves up into over their history. Nobody alive today had any hand in events 200 years ago so why bloody bother killing each other over it.

Answer to the OP. Well Kosovo is likely to remain independent as long as they are recognised by most of the major players in the world and by their neighbours (which is all of them except Serbia). Serbia can whine all they want but they can't do all about it whilst Kosovo has UN backing.

As for Albanians in Kosovo, if God wills thier citizenship in Serbia should be abolished and they will be deported to Albania. After what they pulled in 1999 and similarly in WW2 they don't deserve to ever live in Kosovo and Serbia again.

And this is exactly why they got independence. Deported to where? they've lived there for generations. How about you leave serbia and go back to where you came from. You been there since 6th century A.D. you say? well albanians have been there longer than that and save your breath (so to speak) I know their descendancy is disputed by the serbian academics. Your arguments are pathetic. Still, doesn't change the fact that your government sucks at ruling the region peacefully so they decided to rule themselves. This way they got nobody to blame when they screw up.

Albanians started ethnical cleansing of Serbs since WW2 and they are the ones responsible for the recent war although they had every human right possible and more. After each war there are less Serbs and less Serbian spiritual and cultural heritage in Kosovo. This needs to be stopped.
As for us leaving Serbia to aboriginal people and moving back to Slovakia, Poland where we came from, maybe but as soon as Americans, Canadian, Spanish and Portuguese give back whole of Americas back to American natives. It would be only fair that way.

It will be realy hard to end this ,without neglecting one sides interests.


I hope there will be no more war,but it's realy impossible to evade conflict,with all the foreign powers playing games with us.All those who think that with independent Kosovo,they'll get peace in the Balkans,are eather hypocrites,or plain stupid.
I can assure you,that Serbs will not rest until our southern province is again in our hands.
