When you have a normal map with a gray area in the alpha, it reflects an image of the background. I need to know if changing that reflected image is possible, either by altering the shader that generates the environment map, or by altering the environment map directly. Currently, detials such as horizon lines and trees can show up in the reflection, and I wish to introduce heavy blurring into the image file to reduce the 'polished' look that having a detailed environment map creates.

Does anyone know if either solution is possible?
