    I play as Hannover and captured Amsterdam. But I am not able to recruit any units there? Not even militia.

    I also captured Hessen in another try as Hannover, but the units I can recruit there are vanilla size. 160 instead of 200.

    I downloaded it, and I was going to install the mod it wanted me to install Java scrip.

    Playing as US 1783. Is it correct they cannot recruit any artillery better than 6lbr field gun? No mortars or howitzers whatsoever?

    Also, the tech tree seams incomplete. The economical part of enlightment seams to be lacking. Can't build better than normal trade port.

    I managed to get mod running otherwise by manually putting the files in place, but how do I activate campaign? I only see grand campaign in the menus?

    Did you put right files in imperial_splendor folder in your campaigns folder?

    your patch_is_text.pack needs to be in the data folder.

    Also all .lua, .tga and .esf files need to be in the following folder: data\campaigns\imperial_splendour

    Burn the army buildings and build Hanoverian army buildings (these have other icons and models!).

    This is intended, the US-army was viruall non existend after the Independence War. Just costed to much money and armies where the tools of absolute kings.

    I'll patch the issue with the trade port in the future and yes the US philosophy and army tech-tree will be filled with general techs more or less all nations will share.

    Blackshamrockan and for me too it gave me that message and i instaled Java and i was able to play the game but as i said before this great mod is kinda unplayable CTD - Errors and stuff.! Give it a try u might be lucky.!

    The java download is a authentic java release. I know, I saw that too and was like WAITA MINUTE....skeptical face...

    So I went to actual java website and was same url.

    Switz yeah pal, i think of it too at first but is legit Java download program whatever.! I know the name but i always wonder what it does for the PC.!? Do u know.?? Anyways now i we all waiting for a solution something so we can play this outstanding mod.! Any ideas Switz for the CTD something to make it work.??? Btw i was ready to crash the Mugals as British with Cornualis too and this time Cornualis will win those Rebel Scum... lol ahahahah )))))

    I have not started testing out each file yet (just got in from work). I doubt I will make it through all the files until this time next week. More people taking part in testing should help though if interested.

    As for the java, I am betting it is for his launcher screen. These modders and their clickable options...smh. Just because some crybabies wanted option to revert back to vanilla. I mean, who plays vanilla!?!?!

    Well i totaly agree with u fella Vanilla was is a mess so bad like Rome 2.! Anyways we will wait and hope for the best.! Btw do u know a mod for the "French and Indian War" - "Seven Years War" for ETW of course.! Something to play waiting can u post a link.!?

    I'm really sorry for the bad release. I thought there were no issues, but apparently I was wrong.

    So finally I may have some good news. I think the problem is related to 1 of 3 (2) files. I reinstalled some old backup files and was able to play a GB campaign up to 23 turns, then I stoped. Further testing will be done tomorrow. So forget everything else I said. I think I'll be able to further norrow the problem down.

    The first possiblity is the startpos.esf. This file is very messy and not easy to handle so always was my first guess.

    My second guess was the IS DB.pack file. Normally a conflict in this file should lead to an CTD on the startscreen or when you were clicking on something. None of this was the problem. So I doubt it is this file. What still might be possible that the file itself was corrupted when some changes were saved which did not lead to an imediate CTD.

    The 3rd option is the region.esf. It's unlikely but a possiblity. I only edited this file once in order for the London city model.

    So finally I have something to work on.

    Once I've fixed the issue, I'll upload a patch. Maybe this will take a while because I may have to rebuild a lot of data.

    No because the unit stats etc are in the IS DB.pack file which is possibility No. 2. So I don't want to create a sub with the effect that this submod leads to campaign crashes.

    Furthermore the units are embedded in a system where as much things as possible are faction specific (like buildings). So there are complex relation between different aspects of the new features. But as far as I can tell you can play battles without any mod related issues.

    Quintus i have two questions.! Can i continue my campaign with the British or i have to start all over and can u post a link to the technical help thread.! Thanks and i can't wait to play again i like your mod.!
