hi tried installing mod but cant load
fresh etw install
istalled installer221b + patch1 +patch2
IS laucher icon is a black icon if thats any help
when it opens IS launcher when i click start i get application load error 5:0000065434
i have tried deleting preferences etc but cant get anything to work any help much appreciated

I am not sure why you would install the preference file?
Did you run Empire in vanilla?

There are actually two excutables in the file [ISlauncher.exe (a white box with a blue outline) | imperial Splendour.exe]
For me, both launches the mod fine.

Here is something you can do,....
go to this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War\data\IS
Click on either excutable files. When you do this, the start menu for IS pops up. If the files do not disappear and you receive an error, then the load bat file is not loading (moving the files to the data folder and or the user script. It is probably corrupted. If they do "disappear" and you still receive the error it could still be corrupted; however, I suspect the files are not being moved.
If you do not have these files in the IS folder then you need them or you will receive an error for sure.

im running windows 10 64bit, i have verified game files etc any help would be great mod looks great cheers

Hi everyone,nice mod but i have 2 problems:

1) recruitment and upkeep cost is so high(land units more than 2000 coins) it makes so difficult to raise decent army..

2)in diplomatic window when i do agreement with some factions,the respond comes as "Missing string" any help to fix this??

1) This is part of the mod butwe might change it in future releases.

Normally this should not happen. Can you tell which faction your playing with and with which factions the missing string error occurs?

The latest patch contains an update of the DB file. So if a creator of an submod which changes the same file doesn't say his submod is compatible I fear it is not compatible.

Good afternoon to all. I'm playing with Rise of the Republic in its current version. I have not encountered any start-up, texture of (i think) missing string issues. Rather, in the first turn of the French campaign, when i want to make peace with Great Britain, it crashes to desktop. Same when i propose peace and the Huron Territory. For some reason, I cant make peace with GB without crashing. Why is this? Has this happened to anyone before?

Yes. Just don't do it. I'm not sure why this happens, somewhere in the startpos must have something missed but honestly I've been diggin' in there and found nothing. But apparently the bug solves itself when entering the 2nd. So just wait 1 turn

I would love to get back into the game again and just wanted to ask if it is normal for normal for the games building browser to not show any building names. also even thought the tech tree has completed the mutiny act for british i still cannot recruit dragoons in London.

lastly i would love to have any input of any other mods that are compatible or a great combination of mods that can run with IS to make this a great experience for my game? i have seen people mention RotR or ROM?

Ensure that you install the patches for 2.2.1b. And yes there are some issues that need to be fixed.
Currently we are working on RotR "Rise of the Republic" which is the late era planned for IS3. So many new things will be released in RotR soon.

I've been on a DarthMod kick for some time now for ETW... But the dreaded Ottoman turn lag bug has severely hampered my last two campaigns. Tried every fix in the book but the 1+ hour turn times ruin it for me once I hit turn 70 or so.

I am curious if people playing IS have experienced this bug in this mod or if it's more in line with DarthMod exclusively, as I've heard its a common vanilla bug too.

Hi, I'm not sure where to ask this, so I'll just try here. I just researched the "secret weapons" tech as Russia, but I can't seem to find what building trains the unique artillery. Checking the building browser, even the highest level artillery building in Moscow only makes generic artillery. It looks like someone else had this problem a while ago but I don't think it was resolved. Any help would be appreciated.
