Campaign units in single battles?

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering, is there a way to edit ETW so that the campaign-only units (east india company troops, indiaman trade ship, etc) can be introduced into the single battles?

Sorry if this question has been answered before, but I can't seem to find an answer on these boards.

This is going to sound stupid, but where can I find the unit table? Do I need DBE to find it? I'm new to modding ETW, you see.

okay, yes, you need DBEditor
scroll down to unit_tables. select file-> new units_table, make it in a new pack, think of a neat name.

Copy the unit (row) you want to change into the new table. Save. Enable the mod using mod manager or the user.empire_script.txt

Instead of doing it one by one, you can select the whole row and change it to "True" in one click.
