    Default CTD advantage of 6.2 over 6.1

    Hello,

    I have played 3 Early Era campaigns in SS 6.1 and so far both crashed around turn 120. While playing, I was able to overcome the CTD's by loading earlier saved games and then slightly altering what I did. But, in the end, there would just be another CTD a few turns down the line. (The crashes always happened during AI turns, and not always during the turn of the same nation) I have currently given up on both campaigns and don't want to invest time in another if this is the type of thing I can expect.

    My question is this: How does 6.2 compare to 6.1 in terms of CTD's? Have people successfully completed the complete turn amount without these campaign-map crashes?

    Thanks =-)

    I believe that the "amount of CTDs" is about the same in 6.2 than in 6.1. 6.2 just makes some editing in the game files.

    6.2 fixes a lot of problems and issues that occurred in 6.1. I believe it is quite a bit more stable than 6.1 (but seeing as I have had 0 problems with 6.1, it's a bit hard for me to say from personal experience).
