Early age question

probably a bad question but ive played chivalry 2 for a few days now, love what i see, but i started out in early campaign assuming that it would be a slwoer paced campaign and would help me get adjusted to the new features in Chivalry but now its 1181 (Just passed the 1179 event don't know what that did) and i'm still waiting for my higher end untis to appear as england. Am i waiting in vain? or is their a event that triggers thier arrival. it really blows playing as england when the best archers you can make are peasents. should i just start a new campaign in the high era instead?

Are you looking for English Longbowmen? You should know that they historically aren't availanle in the 12th C., and so they aren't in this mod. Iirc, there should be some Welsh Longbowmen though.
