Default Missing Text in options,interface,units/building description, menu etc

To explain this problem easily, I am attaching pictures describing this issue.

    for a general description though:

Text is missing in building descriptions,in unit descriptions character descriptions, in the menu and options (when pressing esc, in the menu there is no 'exit to main menu' 'save game' 'load game' its all black) also I cannot use diplomacy at all, all of the options in diplomacy (make demand 'give money region' etc and make request 'trade rights' 'alliance' etc are all missing, theyre not invisible, theyre completely missing, thus I cannot offer anything to anyone).

Ive searched this forum and have found an earlier thread, discussing the same issue:
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=281071

Ive tried using snaggers solution of unpacking crusades and copying the text files from crusades/text to broken_crescent/data/text and it didnt work I also downloaded his BC.rar and unrared all the files into broken_crescent/data/text and still it isnt fixed. However I have read in the thread (above) that some files from m2tw vanilla should be copied into the text folder of broken crescent and that fixed the problem(text files like menu_english.txt battle.txt shared.txt etc) however I cannot find these files in my m2tw folder and in the above thread, it was mentioned that the creator of the thread downloaded the files from PRED/PERD or whatever it was and that indeed fixed it, but I cannot seem to find these PRED\PERD download links in the forum. Help anyone? can you provide me with links so I can try to solve it?. Thank you in advance.
p.s. m2tw is patched to 1.3 before installation of broken crescent and this issue occurs with any faction.
Broken crescent 2.0, m2tw and kingdoms both played via steam.

PDER = Pro Deo Et Rege.
Also, have you read this thread and checked the instructions?

Thank you very much, although the filefront download doesnt seem to work, I will try again in a while. Also, I didnt find the need to follow those instructions, instead I renamed british_isles to british_isles_backup and then I renamed the broken_crescent folder to british_isles, this allows me to launch broken crescent through the launcher of m2tw easily, works well with any other mod Ive used.

edit: Ill also check the instructions on the thread you provided, ty.
edit 2 : It worked! thank you very much, however it would appear some text files are still missing, not something very conisderable though(example in attachments).

I have noticed something else which could be an issue, in the main menu theres only an early era campaign, is there supposed to be a late era campaign? if so, a 'late era campaign' button doesnt exist in the main menu.

You have to place BC 'export_units.txt' in your broken_crescent/data/text folder. Its absence is the reason of lacking descriptions. But it should be BC txt file, not PDER, as the latter mod has different units.
Regarding your menu, there is no late or early era campaign to choose in BC, there's only 'Grand Campaign', but because you've used txt files from PDER your menu is different.

I have pasted the 'export_units.txt' in broken_crescent/data/text and yet the unlocalised placement texts remain.
Could something else cause this problem?.
edit : these unlocalised placement texts have been fixed by installling patch 2.2
Also, I cannot fight out siege battles, my game crashes (ctd probably?).
edit : definitely ctd, direct crash to desktop.
edit 2: sometimes it crashes into desktop, sometimes it crashes and the screen goes black.

I think it would be best if you uninstall BC and M2TW and install both again, keeping to the instructions, because it seems like your installation is totally corrupted. That's my opinion. Also, the latest version of BC is 2.02. You have to install it also.

Im reinstalling everything (m2tw then m2tw kingdoms then broken crescent and 2.02 patch), can you please provide a link as to how to install broken crescent 2.0 and update it with 2.02 step by step with kingdoms and steam properly? Ill follow the instructions completely, then I shall report here how is it working).
Again, thank you for your help.

I'd like to help you more, but I don't use Steam, so it's hard to me to give you specific advices on the issue. All I can do is to show you 'Steam threads' in Sticky part of the forum. Try to prepare an understandable guide for yourself with reference to the threads before you start to install. That's all I can do for you, sorry. Good luck.
