I accidentally deleted the desktop shortcut; what do I need to do to get I back?

You could reinstall with the same options and that will automatically create a shortcut. Also, check the recycle bin, the shortcut may be there.

Make a copy of your rome toal war shortcut and paste it to your desktop, rename it extened greek mod or somthing.

Then right click, click prperties and go to the short cut tab. In the box called Target paste (-show_err -nm -mod:xgm) not including the brackets,

so it looks like ("C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -show_err -nm -mod:xgm)

Should work...

To change it back to the original icon click the change incon tab and paste in...
