    Default Maximum settlement sizes

    I've asked this question twice in the RR/RC October thread but nobody seems to answer so I'm gonna have to ask here!
    Is there a way to remove the maximum settlement size restrictions from the settlements affected by it?
    If so can somebody be kind enough to direct me how to do it?

    Hopefully somebody can help me this time, thanks in advance

    If you know how to mod text files, you can add 'capital' (without the ' ) to the characteristics entry of every settlement that doesn't have it, in descr_regions.txt.

    Inverness_Province
    Inverness
    scotland
    English_Rebels
    20 25 225
    wool, atlantic, explorers_guild, scotland, no_pirates
    5
    4
    religions { catholic 90 orthodox 0 islam 0 pagan 5 heretic 5 }
    Oslo_Province
    Oslo
    norway
    Norse_Rebels
    255 180 190
    timber, amber, atlantic, explorers_guild, norway, capital, improved_roads
    5
    5
    religions { catholic 80 orthodox 3 islam 0 pagan 15 heretic 2 }
    You see that Inverness has no capital in the 5th line, while Olso does. Add capital after pirates for Inverness, and it will have no size limit.

    I tried what you said, except using the improved_roads hidden resource. It works fine for cities, but not for castles. Any idea on how to change castles as well?
