Why?!
WHY?!
WHY??!!
Why not just enjoy that you have enough money to call out an army in less than a year? Stop complaining and start spending! It's not hard to blow 1,000,000 denarii if you really try.

We Came, We Saw, We Ran Away!
people complain about too much money? LOL. Id like to know how people play as the Gauls or Germanic Tribes, I can never get passed a few turns without going broke. Now I will say once you take over Italy, Greece, and Asia Minor you have enough money to take over the world. But whenver I go into Africa, most of the middle east or France I loose money like its going outa style.
Hmm, is everyone playing on VH campaign? I'm told that cuts down player income somewhat ...
nope, VH gives players same bonus as AI due to a bug.

I though VH gave the AI no bonus?
gives AI and player the same bonus

@OP
Not if you win all battles at ease, and I play H/VH. You can raise 100 legions and garrison all towns completely but that takes allot of time you should be spending on actually gaming. There is to much money for Rome, face it.

@Leeham991
I did, face it.Lol.... Don't tell me to "face it"
As a matter of speaking, but I came up with an better idea I forgot to write down yesterday and used forced diplomacy to give the enemy's of Rome my cash. Making sure I stay around 75.000 before ending the turn.Anyway, if you could raise 100 legions then damn, we must have a different game. I couldn't raise 20 legions in my richest campaign. I mean, if you got 60 stacks all running around, impossible to pay for.
Anyway, you will have to "face it" as this is a known fact, and the RS team is changing this for a reason as well in RS2.
This is going to be overcompensated in RS2 I bet.
I've been playing as Carthage and my income hasn't been too great so far, but the extermination(relocating populace or whatever its called on here) of Syracuse and destruction of the syracusan treasury gave me a bit of a boost.
And whats wrong with lots of cash?![]()
