    Default M2TW battle+stratmap interface...where is it?

    Hi,

I have upgraded my M2 version with tha latest patch. Then I was able to use the unpacker from the tools-folder.

But even after I used the unpacker I find only 1 battle- and stratmap interface in my M2-folder (I think it's southern europe).

How can I find the others? What about the muslim factions etc etc?
Is it possible to make them visible?

    best regards

Are you referring to the files in /ui/southern_european/interface/ such as stratpage_01.tga?

If so, you should know that Vanilla M2 has only one interface for all factions and cultures. You can still add new interfaces by creating the interface folder manually within the other cultures and copying/modifying the files found in southern_european. There's one file in middle_eastern, but aside from that all cultures use southern_european. The way it works is whichever culture is the first one defined in descr_cultures.txt is considered 'default', so if a file is missing from a supplementary culture it looks for it in the first listed culture.

    Hi Augustus
    thank you for the reply.
I checked the folders before and I saw that there is only one strat-map/battle-map interface. But it was difficult to believe that this is responsible for all cultures. I thought there is perhaps another pak-file.
    but my question is answered.
    see you
