    Default 1200 AD - Recruting!

    We're Recruiting, so PM me if you are Interested

    This Mod is based on the map below:



    The map is dated from the year 1200 (hence the name of the mod), and it stretches from Central Europe to Korea.

    I would love this mod, but the work load is huge and most modders are already in other projects.

    Also... Bulgaria please! (there's no flag for it. )

    why not include Srivajaya.they were powerful at the time and they were cool

    I don't know the maximum amount of factions for M2TW, but Bulgaria would be hard, but fun to play as.

    Its possible to have 31 factions (including rebels)... So yes, you could include Bulgaria and Srivajaya.

    I would like to see this too, that pretty much the whole world. If someone make this try to make last more than couple hundred years, or go back alittle.

    If you guys are willing, we can work on this.
    Few questions: Are we happy with the factions (Srivajaya included)? and do we use this map as the base or find/create something better?

    the current map is fine and it is a good faction list but dont you think the mongols should be in?

    If you want to include hole of Eurasian continent, you had better use a map like the Res Gestae's which has almost of India, because of hard code limit of width of campaign map of the game.

    I'd also recommend not to include Danubian Bulgaria (too small for that map, too crowded area). If you want a Bulgar faction, I'd say the Volga Bulgars are a much better option than the Danubian ones - at that time they had one of the biggest cities in Europe and are generally more interesting (a Muslim nation so far north, managed to hold off the Mongols for a few years (for which most of their cities were razed to the ground) etc).

    @ mochi: I personally like the map how it is, it's more a question of is that map possible?

    @NikeBG:Ta for that, Volga Bulgars would be a better choice. Is it possible to use some Bulgar stuff if this actually goes anyplace?

    Well, the only mod which has Volga Bulgars, as far as I know, is Rus2TW, so you'd have to ask them about it. Otherwise, Volga Bulgars and Danubian Bulgarians were quite different by 1200, so BGTW's Bulgarian units wouldn't fit all too well.

    As far as I've heard, Rusichi have only placeholder units (for the Volga Bulgars) which are the same as the Cumans. It would be better to ask Rusichi for their Russian units, since that's where the accent of their mod is falling.
