MAG is an upcoming shooter for the PS3 only.(Why i dont know, this kind of game should be on the PC)Supporting online battles with up to 256 players, with users divided into 8-player squads, with 4 squads forming a platoon, and 4 platoons forming a company, man stuff etc etc.










im really stoked over this, but having 256 player's is going to be just super jesus lag /

Well it comes out near the end of January (so I hear) exclusive to the PS3 and it supports up to 256 players online in 128v128 battles making this as far as I know the biggest online fps game in history in terms of amount of people on one server. So will anyone be getting this...I will.

I would also want this had I a PS3, but it's Xbox 360 for me.

But damn, this seems epic. One of those games that will really test the patience of people who want to do teamwork while that other idiot is trying to rambo.

And I don't know what the PS3's online gaming is like but with that many players... Xbox Live would die.

I played my friends beta while at his place. The game is very fun, especially when you get the high command position .
I seem to recall 64 people attacking a bunker containing 8 people one time...

Well I watched a few videos of it's gameplay, and it looks pretty stupid too me, although the concept is good. The guns and characters are too cartoony, and this game is too much like warhawk.

Guess it's good that it won't be released in Europe until March.
Then we can wait and see if the game delivers.
