Real Life issues

I apologize to all of you for my absence of late. I am facing RL issues that are very pressing with my daughter in Tennessee, and I have been here in Clarksville now for two months. The computer (laptop) I brought has died (with all the stuff I brought with me on it), so I just haven't been able to contribute much of anything. I hope to get back home in a couple weeks, but then I'm going to moving for economic reasons (no job and basically broke), so I just don't know what to say. The future is a bit uncertain for me.

I've put so much work into this mod, and a lot of heart and soul....I just want you guys to know it isn't for lack of zeal...it's just the way things are now. My daughter has two little boys (2yrs, and 3 months old) and here husband is in Afganistan and flies a helicopter. She very distraught, emotionally on edge, and deathly afraid of the government car driving up with the two Army officers in it to deliver what could only be bad news. I'm just trying to help and calm her, and encourage her with my presence and my prayers for her and her husband. Not much else I can do, and I think certainly what I must do at this point.

Would someone be able to help me out with some of the text editing while DVK's still away?
Mainly making tweaks to the descr_strat and EDB in response to beta testing feedback.

Are you able to make quick changes on a daily basis to comments from beta testers?

At the moment with the Carthage campaign, I think we need to reduce the public order for the Carthaginians in Italy and increase Gallaeci aggressiveness.

I can do that but I don't have access to the svn repository at the moment.

Im sure everyoneknows how much you have put into this mod and I seriously doubt anyone with a braincell would criticse you for concentrating on real life at the moment. I hope things get better for you and your family soon.

Sorry its taken a bit for me to get up and running, but my wife's been out of town since Thursday which has left me taking care of the little one and the dog, which in turn leaves no time for anything else. She's getting back tomorrow night so Wednesday I'll be up and running again and able to make changes.

As a former officer myself, it's also very harrowing for the soldier, knowing that loved ones at home are going through a worse experience than you are (most of the time; I drove a tank, and sometimes that could be a little dicy). Good luck mate, just keep encouraging both of them.
