    Default Lakhmid campaign needs to be fixed

    Historically both the Sassanian and Byzantine empires wooed and showered the Lakhmids and Ghassasnids with gifts, titles, and diplomatic hand outs in order to gain favor against the other party. the Lakhmid campaign is TERRIBLE! They get blitzkrieged by the Byzantines and the Sassanids at the same time, with or without the campaign script that I know nothing about. (the one with the adviser). In my opinion the Lakhmid campaign should be considerably easier than it is, since neither empire wanted Arabian territory but still wanted trade and military access to the region.

    Which particular mod are you referring to?

    I think you will find a very different Lakhmids. It might be worth a try.

    I kind of agree I think that at least the Berbers should be swapped for the Ghassanids since number 1; that could help the situation a little bit to have both Arab powers in the region represented, and number 2; the Berbers don't do squat at all for the RR campaign. They sit there and do nothing, not even give the Vandals a spook. Also, they aren't particularly interesting to play since there units are exact copies of the Lahkmids.

    The Berber campaing is indeed rather boring...I did manage to carve a rather large empire with it (reached as far as Syria) though. I would have thought the Berbers would raid more often that they do but they are rather static, no expansions, no nuisance raids, nothing. Not even worth conquering either.

    You guys are talking about vanilla BI now, right? Since I don't think that any IB mod have the same units for both Arabs and Berbers.

    And removing and adding factions is always a nice topic for discussion...

    If it were up to me there would be no silly Romano-Brits or Gaels in the mod, taking up all that precious faction space...

    Seriously though, there will be no faction replacing for RR 8.0. There will, however, be a new kid on the block, but no other swapping and swinging.

    Nah, I am not referring to vanilla BI...this mod itself, Ruina Romae...poor Romans got smashed by my 'whirling cavalry attacks and deadly javelin showers'

    The Moors weren't even in the vanilla game just the files.
    Also Yes we are talking about the RR Berbers and Arabs and yes they currently do share the same units. I'm hoping that's changed in 8.0 and if so hurray it's just that right now there importance to the game is in question.(I'm not even sure the Berbers were a united people in this time period plus there's almost zilch on they're military and tribal setup)
