i have found a way to include 2 more factions into KGCM quite easily it requires the xml files from the retro fit mod(shared_sd.xml and battle_sd.xml) now these files relate to a more vanillia ui than KGCM so it will require you to add entries for each new page that has been tacked on to the ui eg the shared_teutonic_01.tga etc and map each of the symbols on it from left to right top to bottom and add these numbers and page refrence to the xml files so that all the other symbols will be shown.
Then add a new tga page with both the large and small symbol (being carefull how you do the alphas or the button will not be selectable when you click on it in game) and again map the region of the symbol and add it to the sd xml files as described.
it is alot of work but easy to do it would have been simplier had KGCM not used another mods SD files which where spread all over the place instead of being put to 2 pages each as is the easiest method
Or instead of going though the whole mapping of each symbol on different pages if you could figure how to convert SD files to SD.xml files then you would just need to do the second step to complete and give KGCM 31 factions.
I wish you well in your progress dave cant say i am happy with how you handled things but it is your mod mate and i honestly wish you great success in completion of your new project
