wont load

I am having a huge problem trying to install the game. I just bought the game yesterday and every time i try to install it it stops half way so can someone tell me what i am doing wrong thx.

it might just be as simple as your computer not having the specs required to run the gamebut i doubt in this day and age thats even possible. lol

Does it give you any error message, or just stops half way?

When it stops, how long did you give it until you stopped the installation?

YEah maybe you were supposed to install disk 2...

Or maybe it stopped responding and you just had to wait it out before it responded again and kept going...

This should be moved to technical support.

You also should add in your post your PC stats, hardware, ram, graphics card etc.... Also note what type of M2TW game your running (gold edition or standard). Note on when the installation stops (at the beginning of the installation, half way through one of the campagins/which campagin?). Be specific. Also I doubt you would be going wrong using the installer, it is very basic and theres little to screw up that will cause it to stop. The instructions are very clear.

My computer is brand new so i am sure that the specs are fine. When i try to in stall it "gold edition" it will move just slightly from where it was when i last tried to install it. It stops right after the the campaigns at sounds. I already just left my computer run for over an hour and when i got back the loading bar hasn't moved. No message pops up it just stops.

PM Squid (or any of the mods really) and ask him to move this to Tech Support.

In the meantime could you please post your DxDiag log. Here's how:

DxDiag is easy to run if you have any knowledge of Windows. Go to the "Start" button and in that menu choose "Run Program" option ("Run..." in Vista IIRC). In the pop-up field type "dxdiag" and press enter. This is the DirectX test program - let it finish the test. After the test is finished choose the button toward the bottom labeled "Save All Information..." and save it to your desktop. Next open up this forum and post the results by copying and pasting directly to the forum. Please don't post attachments as they take up more space and time - just copy and paste. Please post ALL info and if you can please wrap it in a spoiler tag to minimize page size.

In that case, this should be truly moved to the Technical Support.
To me it sounds like you are supposed to enter Disc 2, but if no message pops out... That's just weird.
