CTD in Battle

Hi everyone!!
i am playing with Makedon and i lured some seleukids to a ford and was going to crush them
But when i destroyed about 50% of the enemy forces i am getting a CTD!!!!
This has happened three times now and it is very frustrating, 'cause these ford battles require quite a bit of time.
I played EB for a while now and this is the only a problem i encountered in this fabulous mod.
So if anyone knows a possible solution, i would be very grateful!!!

I had this problem when besieging Corinth and Numantia. It would take a while to knock down the walls or fight on them, and then it ctds.
Sometimes when loading a battle it also CTDs
