galadrim archer availability and farming output

Hi,

Was wondering how to make Galadhrim archers and heavy spearmen for Silvan Elves available in other cities other than the two initial southwest cities you have. I know that i have to edit it in the export_descr_buildings file. For example, when i search for them in that file, i see this:

recruit_pool "Silvan Heavy Spearmen" 1 0.1 1 0 requires factions { mongols, } and hidden_resource lorien and region_religion orthodox 60

I think this means that the two southwest cities are the hidden resource. Do I just remove that from the line thereby making it appear like this?:

recruit_pool "Silvan Heavy Spearmen" 1 0.1 1 0 requires factions { mongols, } and region_religion orthodox 60

or is there something else should i edit?

I remember being able to do this in Rome when I made Spartan Hoplites available in any high level barracks and not just in Sparta but I forgot how to go about it Any help would be much appreciated


since there's fewer factions in TATW than in vanilla, trade doesn't provide as much income from the outset. is there any file that I could edit that could ramp up the income I get from farming?

Yeah, that should do it, but you must be using RC/RR because you can recruit them anywhere in vanilla (assuming you've got enough culture...).
