i change KNIGHTS_TEMPLAR to another name,i know i wast stupit
game crash i putt bake old fill its still crash,i reinnstall hole MTW kingdom and ss went i select settlermen ist crash went i play knight templar event i star new game,but if i play another faction its work fine,
went i reinnstal and i delete hole sega folder inn programfil folder,but why i still not delete my old save game,now i will reinnstal again i will delete everything about MTW,where can i fine creative assembly folder and save game?
or u guys know better solution

You modified he original files without knowing what you are doing, so reinstall the WHOLE M2TW folder. Uninstall, delete everything, reinstalll everything again.
Never change without knowing what you are doing. The save game you can't use it any more, forget about it.

i do reinnstall whole M2TW and try delete everything like sega folder on programfil folder but i thing i must delete creative assembly folder and save game to

where can i fine creative assembly folder?
where is save game folder?

I feel for you denter, I really do. That said, I have 2 related questions of my own:

1. Is the reason that it stuffed up because the faction to which the name was referring was changed to one that does not exist?

2. Why would he/you have to reinstall the whole game? If he/you only attempted to mod Stainless Steel, then surely he/you could just uninstall and reinstall the mod?

The reason I ask is so that I don't make the same mistake in my feeble attempts at modding.

When you open expanded.txt, the entries for faction names just have the faction name on it's own surrounded in curly brackets. For example:

{ARAGON}Crown of Aragon

Only edit the text AFTER the curly brackets. So for example:

{ARAGON}The Super Fantastic Empire of Alpha Centauri
