no, Tone isn't human. Humans sleep.
(damn, I can't wait to play in these environments, it will actually make forest battles fun!)

wow... They are the best RTW trees that I have seen! And mtw or ETW for that matter. I also love how the rocks and fallen branches etc are now appearing.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is the first time I WANT to do forest battles.

I mean I can't believe how you guys can even do this with the Rome engine. I would never have belived it can go this far. I actually felt like I was in the forest in some of those pictures.

For instance the picture with the deep winter woods with the thick and light fog. It almost looks like where I live in the North Eastern US. I pictured myself in the woods at dusk, the cold air, light snow falling, the guys next to you are sneezing and coughing. Your fingers frozen to the cold steel of your sword. The breeze coming through the open spaces in your armor. The wind howling, everything is quiet, except the distance of the enemy army approaching with their loud marching, and the general yelling orders.

The headless horsemen is the new unit.

    1 Axe
    2.spear (second weapon)
    3. hits 10
4 Armour ( already dead so forget trying to kill it).
    5.Speed unmatched.

Location of unit, avoid dark forests as seen above.
    number of units, one.

is that some sort of trick to have people avoid playing celtic/germanic factions?

Temperate deep forest in Summer - still a bit of tidying up to do with adding some bushes outside the wooded areas, maybe reduce the brightness of the birches a little.

Tone, copying real images and running them through a filter doesn't count as in-game images

That must be the first time on RTW or any TW game (and maybe even any game at all), that there are real looking forests! Not just a bunch of trees piled together with a "forest" label.

    Very well done

All those screens are from RTW!!?? The same RTW we have been playing and modding all these years...?
They are the most beautiful screens I have ever seen in any mod. And a good motivation to keep modding over rtw engine.

It's not just RTW it's RSII Beta RTW.......

(that was supposed to be a rip off of the Marks & Spencer advertisments.)

Yes, it's hard to believe. After beta testing RSII for ages it's very strange to go back to a previous version of RS.

I didn't know that the RTW engine was capable of such things! All we need now is custom battlemap settlements...... *hint*

There's way more we could do to make it better, but just lack the manpower to pull off really.
