    Hello!
    Playing 1.4, and it's still painfully evident that the AI simply cannot handle a siege battle.
    So, I'm thinking about removing the forts and fortifications from startpos, and then making them cost a million or so to build/deploy.

    Does anyone know how to mod the field fort prices?

    actually in the database, under agent abilities you can set it so generals and captains can't built forts. might be a better route to take.

    I guess same works for not let generals refill units ? Would you have a value for that in mind ?

    As far as i could tell, i was not able to change whether they could refill troops or not. You can however do it for yourself (doesn't effect the AI) by scripting out the reinforce button. but then the AI can still refill its troops.

    Since retraining is not done by a character, you can't disable it afaik.
