I was watching the new show on the History Channel called MysteryQuest. I'm not sure how reliable it is, but the scientists on the show examine the only pieces of evidence from Hitler's Bunker (including a couch piece with blood stains on it, records of the Russians cremating everything, and a supposedly piece of Hitler's skull with a bullet exit wound on the top). When the Russians allowed only 60 minutes to look at all the evidence, the scientist was able to bring small pieces of bone to a lab in America. After analysis on the couch samples, they found that the blood is from a male victim. But when analyzing high rez pictures of the skull, they realize that the middle part of the skull has cracks in it, which is usually seen in younger people (Hitler died when he was 56). When bone fragments were tested, it turns out the piece of skull was from a female.
My first thought was that this piece of skull is probably from Eva Braun.
Perhaps both Hitler and Braun took poison capsules, but it did not kill them quickly so Hitler either shot Eva or Eva shot herself, and when she was dead Hitler shot himself.
Any thoughts?
