Problem loading

Hi, I have just tried to load the Extended Realism ( version 3.3.4 ) to my PC and I can load the game but when I click on Single player it takes me to New Campaign which then takes me back to New Campaign before a CTD occurs.
I have the Rome Total War Vanilla with BI loaded also the Alexandra Expansion Pack.
Along side the following mods RTR PE mod switch verion, and TIC.

Also on a first load I appear to have a 'saved' game from Nov 12 2007, when loaded this just creates a CTD.

The Shortcut properties are . "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -nm -show_err mod:ExRM

Is this correct.

Any help would be appriciated, I have been playing RTR for about a year and absolutely love it.

The shortcut looks correct unless you're trying to play with Alex.exe, in which case you should follow the Alexander instructions from this post:

Also, why are you using 3.3.4 instead of 3.4.1? You might want to just delete 3.3.4 and download Bladerunner's installer.

HI, I have Rome TW Gold with Alex loaded on the PC, does that mean I have to download the Alex version? or is that 3.4.1 ( didn'r see that one ) Will download it and try. Thanks.Robert.

No problem.

Nope, there's no Alex version, just some special instructions to get it to work with Alex.exe

Definitely try 3.4.1. I think it's an improvement. Make sure it installs to the right place, though. There's a sample directory shot in my download post that shows you what it should look like.

Hi, Deleted v3.3 and installed v3.4 .
I know get a CTD immediately.

Are you getting any error messages with show_err?

Also, when, precisely, is the CTD occurring?

Hi, I get the error immediately after chosing my faction on startNew Campaign and clicking on the arrow at the bottom right of the screen, it just CTD's !
This was after reloading from earlier problems where I couldn't start a Campaign.
You mention Show_err when can I see that?

Is this what you mean, from properties on the ExRM icon?

Hi, Firstly many thanks to Quinn Innuit ( hopefully thats spelt correctly ) .

Deleted and reloaded ExRM twice, the second time everything works, think maybe I was doing something wrong.

Will be starting a campaign soon.
