Wallpaper of the Month (October) VOTE!!!

Ok, gentlemen its time to put it to the vote. This competition went well and everyones submittions looked great. Good luck to all. You guys should know the rules by now, please do not vote for yourself. Below are rules and theme explained by Marcel.

The idea is to create wallpaper themed on an event that happened in the month, the event will be chosen by the competition manager, but you can also suggest events here.

This first competition i'll let you decide what event you use to make a wallpaper of, but you have to pick an event that happened in the month October, and state which event you picked with your submission.
an example of a good event can be the 'Battle of Hastings' for example.


The rules are simple. Submit any piece of graphics art that you have made, manipulated or edited. It must be 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024 pixels in size. You may not enter a Wallpaper twice into the competition. For all/more Competition rules: Click here.

Okay it was a close one, between Y2day, Abbews and Giovi, but I go with Giovi based upon skill. I feel that Worm and Abbews have just taken large pictures and applied minimal effects to them, leaving it down to Y & G, but I definately love the vintage feel to Giovi and so he's got my vote

Thanks, that means alot, cause there isn't any minimal effects on my entry, it's actually a (by my standards) large amount of work behind the end result.

Well if you can show me what you originally had, then I might change my vote (ie declare that my vote for Giovi is null and I now place it in yours). I don't mean to offend you, but I prefer to vote for skill, rather than what I like. Admittedly, I would much prefer Abbews or the Oktoberfest one, but it defies the point of a skill-based competition to do it based on looks alone. If you can show me what you started off with, and if I'm impressed by what you originally had, then consider yourself one vote extra
