Default Unseen Academicals by Terry Pratchett

The first seventy-seven pages of Terry Pratchett's forthcoming Unseen Academicals - the newest book in his Discworld series - are now available on harpercollins.com. In UA Mustrum Ridcully, the Archchancellor of Unseen University, decides to set up a football team - which is, I'm guessing, not a very good idea...

The book is being released on October 1st.

Thank you. Thank you very much. I shall indeed be buying this.

Is Raising Taxes still on the cards?

I think there is a new Tiffany Aching book, I Shall Wear Midnight, up next, and then Raising Taxes after that.

I want more Moist von Lipvig books and another Death book.
But its cool he's still writing, even though hewas going to stop because he's got a form of Alzheimers.

Yeah, you've got to think there's a chance this will be his last book.

Dear god I hope he gets more out.

Can't wait to get this in a few weeks' time though. I've a yearning for some thaumaturgical hijinx. I wonder if Hex will be involved..
    Life, go easy on me

Then I weighed him I said, “Holy ****!” because he weighs 900,000,000,000,000,000 tons. That amazing weight made me say the “S” word.

I don't think that he'll stop writing as long a he's still capable of doing so. He's having far too much fun.

Going to be a sad day when he finally reaches the point where he simply is incapable of doing it anymore.

There is a Discworld social group here.

Do pop in if your interested in discussing Pratchett and his work.

The group is run by the former Second Spartan, now known as The Librarian

You know as great as Discworld series is his other stuff doesnt get enough credit. I absolutely adored reading The Bromeliad trilogy to my daughter few years ago and she absolutely loves the nomes over Harry Potter And I still say Good Omen is about as good of a novel you can get when two fantastic writers decide to write a book together.
