    Southern Norway is made up of three major regions vestlandet(western land), østlanded(eastern land) and sørlandet(southern land), It took some time getting all of these pictures togheter, so I hope you will enjoy it.

    Not really that much similiarty in my opinion.


    I feel like I have neglected the coastal areas, so here are some more pictures















    Sami people in southern parts of Norway, in the late 19th century there were some Sami people still left in Hardanger and Telemark wich outside the sami cultural area.

    Yeah that picture was taken in 1924 so she is either dead or really old.

    Beautiful pictures!


    I had no idea Norwegian peasant houses were so similar to Russian ones! Very similar construction. Though with some differences, of course. But at a glance, I would place them in Russia just as easily as Norway. Great work.
