Default [HoI3] Campaigns: advices - suggestions

This is my first HoI game and I'm so very excited.
After played as Germany, France and USA (learning how to play by reading the manual at the same time), I think I'm ready to play as Brasil.

I'll try to be an Axis member and take the rest of South America. Any suggestion would be appreciated because I'm still new.
Also feel free and share your current campaigns with us.

Brazil has crapy infrastructure. Pay attention to it. Try to avoid using crappy infrastructure.

Go after your enemies Victory Points, (well, it worked like this in HoI2) as when you have them all you can annex the enemy, and they're usually in provinces with high infrastructure, so you won't have to walk into the jungle.

    Hmm, did someone say Brazil??

    Some rules for Brazil:

    1. Never join Axis; you have no way to stop American land on your land.

    2. Expand carefully and make sure US would not hate you.

    3. Attack Venezula as quick as you can (for oil).

    4. Try not to attack Argentina until you have enough resource.

Thank you both, even if I feel... weaker now. The size of Brazil was the reason and I thought it would be normal to play it. Meh I'll take the risk and I'll be probably crashed before 1941.

Brazil is actually very good to join Comintern, especially Axis would not declare war against USSR in HoI3.

Seriously? My Norway game has bacially revolved around blocking Kriegsmarine access to Skaggerack and Norway, by holding Denmark the last years... Waiting for the Red Fury to be unleashed, allowing me to liberate the rest of Denmark in the process.

I guess I'll have to wait for the US to enter the war....

I played as germany, got allied with Italy early by some scripting ( I did nothing about it) and when the war starts and when I have finished Poland, Italy has taken half france, but they got stopped by redeployed Maginot Line troops. Then it was a cakewalk to take paris, but ofc the stupid Vichy France events occurs.

I tried a German campaign, but I hated it. I don't know why, but I hate playing majors when their armed forces are built at all. I feel like I don't know what going on, and I don't like it when I don't know about every unit in my army.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

Ran into a bug with Hungary - when Germany annexes Austria, my fuel and supplies are set to 0. Not only that, the game also sets a hard cap so i can't go above that. If i add resources with the console, it is removed the next day.

Also, if, as a faction member, i declare a limited war on another (non-faction) country, it is impossible to make peace with them - the button is greyed out and claims that i have to negotiate with some imaginary "leader" instead...

Oh well, i'll just have to wait for the next patch it seems
