    Default HB #1: Agincourt

    Historical Battle #1: Agincourt released

Download the file and uncompress it into the Rome Medieval 2 folder.

    Links (interchangeable):

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QI949LMU
    http://rapidshare.com/files/28376013...court.rar.html

Known bug: Don't press Esc during the intro sequence. I will fix it for next release.

WARNING: It will replace the following files: descr_names.txt and names.txt. It's highly recommended to make a backup copy of them before installing the historical battle. They are placed at data folder and data/text folder.

If you have any doubt, just pm me =)

That was a great battle! I was a little dubious at first because I didn't realise how outnumbered I was until the battle started. Halfway through I was gonna give up because the french cavalry charge completely shattered my formation when they broke through my pikemen. I think the longbow archers really make the difference here. But I stuck with it, turned the battle around and won! The battlefield was littered with bodies.

Good job! Hopefully these historical battles will renew interest in this mod.

I was going to wait until finishing Hastings too, but i had some unexpected problems and I preferred not making you wait. Remember that you can continue voting for your favourite HB at the poll thread. I still need ideas for new battles.

Will download it when I have the chance. Sounds great and I hope for more historical battles to be made in due time. Good luck! Any screen shots?

I'm really short of time at the moment... that's why i'm not posting anything about new HB. Anyway, i'm planing to finish with Hastings when I discover how to solve some problems with the playable / non playable factions... I'm leaving some screens in a second...

I discovered a bug with 1 of the archers units... Did anybody noticed that there's a unit that doesn't start firing? I'll pay attention to that in the following days....
