    Default one faction from a different mod, and you have to conquer TATW, who do you bring?

    Hi all, I love love the work all the modders do on making the game constantly entertaining. I am playing the new Broken Crescent as well and was just thinking "wow, if I could have my Eldar Archers right now, there would be some dead camels" which got me to thinking, who would I bring to Middle Earth if I could?

    My first choice would be Knights Templar so I could introduce trolls to some Swiss Guard wearing plate and swinging two handed. That or to go totally random, go Mongols and have them be neutral and try to kill everyone!

    LOL and don't say something from Empire or else Sauron gets to use magic...

    If it were a faction than I would send Spain into the fire. They had a proven track record of conquering unknown and mysterious lands. Although Orcs and Olog hai are hardly native americans.

    ohh...just medium tank still best in the WW2 but my choice is Panzer 6E Jagdtiger...

    @Muffer Nl - yes i love history of WW2 and especial battle for kursk ...for me one of the greatest battles in the war...this one is better PzKpfw VI Tiger Ausf. B or Tiger II or Königstiger...first used in Kursk

    Gauls please, thank you. If them orcs want to go all berserk on me, I will go all berserk on them too, thanks.

    By the way, The dwarves faction probably won't last very long in MTWII Europe. If they think snagas were bad, imagine them having to negotiate with AP archers, and chivalic knights!

    Dude I would take germainia was it? ...... who were the guys who had the ridiculously overpowered berserkers......... those guys.

    Id just set a group of them agaisnt 10,000 orcs and watch them all die

    I have a feeling middle Earth would be pretty hazardous for the Teutonic knights. They couldnt even handle backwater Lithuanians much less the power of Sauron.

    You would probably need to reach a tech level equivalent to the age of sail before you could hope to grapple with Sauron.

    The reason why spain would have a better chance of survival is because they relied on a teamwork and combined arms tactic of the Tercio and all of its support elements.

    The Tuetonic knights relied too much on individual combat prowess. They would cry like babies against the terrors of middle Earth.

    The peoples of middle earth are a hardy folk. We should not see their ease of combating orcs as a sign that Real earth soldiers would have a comparable ability.
