In my new game as GB, the very first turn France loaded a 3/4 size stack onto a ship and made a beeline straight for the 13 colonies, landing the stack as soon as they got there. I also saw the UP sending a ship full of troops towards iceland, though i have no clue if they actually landed or not. Quite impressive.

In my game as GB, France did the exact same thing. I was fighting with UP vs France and Spain in Flanders and noticed France off-load and 3/4 stack into 13 colonies in about 1703 and quickly took Maine and Boston. I can see I'm going to have to start rushing my military more quickly in campaigns and getting straight to America with a stack. Looks like this campaign the American arena will be more interesting.

I hope the natives were toned down a little to compensate.

Ditto, playing as GB, a French fleet droped off a stack at the Thirteen colonies. However I can not be sure where it came from but the fact that it was a pretty large fleet implies it came from Europe.

The same thing (with the French landing in the 13 Colonies) happened to me. It's 1713 and France owns Maine, Boston, New York and Pennsylvania...

Has anyone witnessed European AI's going to India yet?

Uhm guys in all threads this french invasion on 13 colonies is mentioned and there are a few screenshots where armies land on a british island in north america (bahamas?) and everytime this island...i hope those events arent scripted?

Hi all.
What mod are you using, or what modifications have you implied your self. A 3/4 stack is 15 units.....In the very first turn that is only 3 less than France has in total in europe. And not to mention that some of these (6 I believe) cant make it to the atlantic coast in less than 2 turns. What you say happend is just not possible in vanilla. Not in turn 1.

Playing as GB, I think I saw the same French stack other people are saying they landed in the 13 colonies. However, they never made it. I am at war with France, and I have almost no troops in Ireland or Scotland. France has its stack just sitting in the British Channel. I don't see why they don't land it in Ireland.

Any other naval invasions happening. I fear the French invasion of 13 colonies and possibly any other early invasions might be scripted. I won't be convinced until I see the AI conduct some good opportunistic invasions in the late game that historically would not have happened. Like Spain invading Prussian occupied India for instance.

In my current GB campaign (H/H)...

- France invaded the Thirteen Colonies (invasion from France)
- Spain recaptured Santa Domingo with a full stack (invasion from the colonies in the west)
- France invaded Algiers
- Prussia invaded Tunis

..AI unloaded troops in port.

..btw i like the new aggressivity of the AI.

Hi again.
Having made the grand count here, I find it possible that France moved a 12 units stack to America in turn 1. A 3/4 stack would be possible from turn 2.
