    Default Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod: FANS PLEASE READ

    Dave is working on a new project and needs talented commited modders. If you are or know someone that fits the description please contact Dave Scarface. We all know what a great guy Dave is and how talented a modder, and he deserves support from this community. So if you guys want something new from Dave then please help him. He might not approve of this thread and I wouldn't blame him, (sorry Dave) but I think it is needed. For the ones that have taken the time to install KGCM have discovered a great mod and the ones that have taken the time to know Dave have discovered a great guy. Now its time to give back. So I'm putting the word out to everyone I know, and I know alot of people here, but I don't know them all, so please help me. Please contact Dave and come prepared to make the best mod ever.

    Well, seeing this ugly native Indian dude or whatever, on this banner, I certainly hope new work from Dave won't go the direction of Empire TW and it's ultra lame Warpath mod.

    M2TW is a game about medieval European and Middle East empires and should remain so.

    I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but I do admit this guy's tongue and tatoos are kinda irritating and totally out of place. He steals the show from the other two guys on the banner (who would probably slice right thru him on a battlefield). I certainly hope it won't be like that in new versions of the mod (ie American campaigns stealing the European-Middle East highlight of the game).

    The basis is still very strongly europe and middle east but as we move to the age of discovery the americas play a part and slicing through these primitive heatherns is one great joy

    Trust me there is nothing lame about KGCM i would pay to play this rather than being paid to play ETW

    LOL, fear not, I won't be going down the same path as ETW with Americas background movie and Americas music on start up. Looks utterly ridiculous and doesn't suit the game at all IMO.

    Very disappointing expansion if you ask me focused entirely on American indians. This would have been okay as an extra DLC pack but an expansion focused on this only? joke. Now lets get this thread back on topic please.

    That banner is in noway a representative of Daves new project. It is a banner I put together for the Frontpage of TWC. I am a staff content artist and we have done banners for many mods. The banner was to represent Daves current Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod, and it does include atleast one Native Americian tribe. Most mods seems their first order of business is to get rid of America all together. So it is nice to have a mod of such high quality include and improve what many have removed. It hasn't been posted yet but will be soon. http://www.twcenter.net/

    I never hate to hear any critics of my work, good or bad. If I decide to go back and make some changes I will take your suggestions in concideration..

    Modders, if anyone knows any talented people we ask them to get in touch with us. I worked on KGCM entirely on my own as many of you know. But for this new mod I am looking to recruit a team of modders. I have already tried advertising in different places on TWC but so far nobody replied.

    Y2day is trying to help me recruit guys, we already have 1 new team member who is a skinner. But we need a modeller badly. And I would also welcome a good scripter as well as a mapper. If I tried to complete all of this work on my own and learn new stuff it would take forever. Its far better to have a team working on this project in different areas. That way the mod will be of a higher quality.

    Hey Dave, I could help with Modelling/skinning and 2d Art.
    But I don´t have so many time. Around 1-5 hours per week for you

    The map isnt ready, so there are only a few provinces included.

    Hmm well if you don't already have few GFX guys, you could count me in (I can do graphics me). I already know you've got the faction symbols but this hopefully atleast gives you some sort of idea of what I can do. I basically love creating graphics (I was supposed to go study as something we call "media-assistant" which basically includes everything from photo manipulation to scripting) and I've used PS for ~3 years.
